Abstract Opinions of scientists concerning a value and orientation professionally-applied physical preparation of students of pedagogical specialities are examined. In the process of research 8 literary sources were analysed. Basic tasks which must be decided in the process of professionally-applied physical preparation of students of pedagogical specialities are resulted. It is set that professionally-applied physical preparation allows future pedagogical shots more effectively to master a future profession.
