Abstract Addressed, theoretically and experimentally proved highly effective, and informative method of subjective control of physical exertion in basketball students. The study involved students 12-13 years old, pupils from different schools of Kharkov (girls). The experiment was conducted on the basis of Camp «Zirka» Krasnograd area during the summer. We simulated the physical education class with basketball, which were carried out 2 times a week, lasted 45 minutes. The total duration of the experiment - 6 weeks. The control group consisted of 12 students, the pilot - 12. The perceived value of the load was determined by the Borg scale, which is a series of numbers from 6 to 20, which correspond to qualitative (verbally) the characteristics of the value carried the load. Heart rate was recorded at the end of each exercise palpation method. Adequacy of the subjective method of regulation of physical activity for the problems of the learning process associated with the development of special endurance in basketball.
